Collectible Bottles- are they worth more to you Full or Empty?

I am about to store my Collectible bottles, do the contents affect the value?

While the general rule of thumb is that collectible bottles are collected and priced empty, it seemed a very good question for our collectors. What do you think? When you purchase a collectible bottle is it worth more to you, less to you, or the same if it is full? Does being empty make it more desirable to you or less?

Do Misprinted Items have a different value ?

I was going through a bunch of old boxes in the attic today, and i found, what i think to be a VERY VERY RARE MISPRINT canister of a Brand New Full Vintage Avon Bayberry Room Freshener 7 oz. bottle, that the label was printed upside down, and was never used. The label is not paper, but is printed directly on the can. This has been in storage for over 25-30 years. I believe that this is one of a kind as there is absolutely no info about it anywhere, let alone the normal version. I'm confident that this is the only one.

That's a great question, and I'm sure they were wondering if misprints like this affect the value of their item. Personally we have not dealt in misprinted items and they are not very common so it's often difficult to find examples of misprinted items in this area of collecting that have been offered for sale, much less examples of sold items. While some items such as money and stamps are known to have additional value if a small number of misprints are available, other items like books generally (we have heard) have no additional value or might decrease in value if they include misprints. 

So we ask our readers, have YOU ever purchased or sold a misprinted Avon collectible? What was your experience? Did you seek the misprint or did you obtain it by accident?
